Information about the school 

Welcome to Stanwell School's website. Stanwell School is a popular, oversubscribed 11-18 co-educational school with approximately 1800 pupils on roll in Years 7-13 with a thriving sixth form. The school uses an active discipline system where good behaviour is rewarded and students have clear boundaries. As a result of this, relationships between staff and pupils are a great strength and assist in the learning process.

We are a fully comprehensive school which provides a safe and stimulating environment ensuring that students achieve their potential.

As an11-18 school we are able to provide students with the continuity throughout school key stages, which asssits in the development of the young person. The majority of students choose to remain in Stanwell School for their post-16 education where they are comfortable in the knowledge that they will receive high quality teaching to assist in their learning development.

Stanwell enjoys excellent facilities, all the school's buildings have a modern look and feel or have recently been re-furbished. Specialist teaching accommodation has been built for Science (11 modern laboratories), drama, music, media studies, P.E. (including sports halls), Information Technology, Art and Design Technology.

We realise that success is only possible by working in partnership with parents, organisations and key external agencies. Effective partnerships benefit our pupils and ensure that we are working at the heart of our local community.
