Amazing alumni update

Posted on: Wednesday 25th February 2015

This week, we have been very proud to learn of the success achieved by two former pupils, Julian Templeton and Ben Hopkins. Julian, who won our M.Rahn memorial prize for Geography at the 2009 Award Ceremony has been appointed to work for the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction in Geneva as a consultant for urban risk reduction. Ben, after taking a first class degree from Merton College, Oxford, has been awarded the Zoological Society of London’s Charles Darwin Award and Marsh prize for his research on the reproductive biology of fruit flies. The prize, which recognises outstanding work in zoology is awarded for the best undergraduate research in the UK. Further information can be found on Merton College’s website. All Julian and Ben’s former teachers are thrilled by their well deserved success.
