Jaguar

Business Studies ran an A Level trip to Jaguar cars in Birmingham. The day was a huge success for all the students involved.

Throughout the day students were involved with a range of different events, developing their practical knowledge and understanding of specialisation, lean management techniques, Kaizen philosophy, Total Quality management (TQM), international business and different aspects of operations management.

Students had a tour of the manufacturing plant where cars were made specifically for customers needs and then being exported to a range of international markets including China, USA and Switzerland. It was amazing to see the robotic units assembling parts of the cars as well as traditional manufacturing techniques. There were also top secret designs being created whilst we were there!
