Charity Fundraising for the Princess of Wales Hospital

Posted on: Thursday 13th November 2014

Congratulations to Angharad Goodhew who has completed a gruelling walk with her family to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend.

On the weekend of the 8-9th November, Angharad, with her mum, dad and brother Tom, walked from their home in Penarth to the Hospital, following the Wales Coastal Path for most of the route. The SCBU is especially close to the family’s heart as Tom and Angharad’s younger brother, Nathaniel, was born nine weeks prematurely and spent the first six weeks of his life in hospital, where the dedication of the medical team was second to none. Nathaniel, now a healthy and happy almost-3-year old, joined the rest of his courageous family for the final mile to the hospital. All at Stanwell are very proud of Angharad and extend our congratulations to the entire Goodhew family.
