The Music department has had the privilege to be involved in two events taking place at the newly re-opened Penarth Pier Pavilion. Deputy Head Boy Zac Ghazi-Torbati co-ordinated a group of musicians that included sixth form students Alasdair Cavaye, Robert Cavaye, Rhodri Jones and Tabitha Minns who provided musical items for an event held at the impressive new building to promote tourism in the Vale of Glamorgan. Well done to all involved!
The Junior Girls’ Choir and the String Group will also be performing at the venue on Sunday 22nd December as part of the Pavillion’s ‘Advent Sundays’ programme of events. The chosen repertoire will include popular music as well as more traditional festive items. The concert will take place from 3 o’clock onwards and admission is free. Mince pies and other seasonal refreshments will be available for audience members.
