In the 21st Century D & T is a subject that equips learners with a wealth of life skills, from simple manufacturing techniques through to complex, creative, abstract thought.
The subject is delivered through a number of focus areas at Key Stage 3, 4 specialist options at GCSE, and Product Design at A-Level. The department consists of six members of staff have a wealth of both industrial and teaching experience between them.
