London Visit 2011
London visit– origins exhibition and the V&A
Pupils from both A level and GCSE Design Technology visited the Origins exhibition in London. The exhibition not only enabled pupils to view the work of a range of talented designers but pupils were able to speak to the designers about their work. Pupils received valuable information from the designers to assist them with their projects. From the Origins exhibition pupils visited the V&A where they viewed the ‘Power of Making’ exhibition.

Innovations Awards – Sophia Gardens
A level Product design pupils visited the innovations award at Sophia gardens this week. Pupils were able to view a range of innovative Product design work from Schools around the country and attended seminars on various topics which will aid them with their projects. There were also people from industry available to discuss future plans.
