Cologne Visit 2011

At the beginning of December the German department visited the magical Christmas markets of Cologne. In addition to sampling the delights of six different markets, highlights of the trip included a boat ride along the river Rhine, climbing the 517 steps to the top of the cathedral, visiting the Lindt chocolate museum and an evening bowling. It certainly put us all in the festive mood!
