Young Enterprise Cardiff and the Vales of Glamorgan
Regional Finals 2011
At Stanwell we have teams running the Young Enterprise scheme in Year 10 (Young Guns) and Year 12 (OGI). Throughout the year students have been involved with a range of different sales opportunities including the schools Open Day, IKEA trade fair and the Cardiff Christmas Market in Cardiff Bay.
The Regional Finals are a great opportunity for students taking part in the Young Enterprise Scheme to celebrate their achievements. The event this year was well attended with 11 teams taking part from schools throughout Cardiff and the Vale. The students taking part in the event were aged between 14 and 18 years; all competing together!
Year 10 team: Young Guns
Year 12 team: OGI
During the day students were interviewed at their stands and had to present to judges and the general public at City Hall in Cardiff. Both teams from Stanwell performed very well and were a credit to the school.

The Year 10 team now has to prepare for the Welsh Finals that will be held in the Millennium Centre on the 23rd June.
