GCSE Geography Visit to the Bay of Naples

Posted on: Friday 26th October 2018

Between 12th and 16th of Oct 2018, 40 GCSE Geographers and 4 members of staff travelled to the Bay of Naples in Italy. While they were there the group visited places of geographical interest such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuivius, Montenevo (cinder cone), Sorrento and the Island of Capri. One of the most enjoyable experiences of the visit was going to an organic farm found in the hills around Sorrento where the pupils had the opportunity to make their own pizzas, which were delicious.
