On Thursday 10th October 100 year 8 pupils visited Cadbury World near Birmingham as part of their studies on ‘The Geography of Chocolate’.
Pupils had the opportunity to look around the factory and its many and varied exhibits, create their own chocolate product and eat lots of chocolate. Pupils also learnt about why the factory is located in Birmingham, where the ingredients come from and what Cadbury does to help the Cocoa bean farmers situated in Ghana, Africa.
The visit helped pupils bring their studies to life and was enjoyed by all.
