Historic Debate

Posted on: Friday 14th November 2014

Year 12 and 13 students Lowri Thomas, Jess Vining, Katie Black, Emma Thorne and Georgina Bartlett competed in the Cardiff heat of the Historical Association Great Debate competition on 13th November. All our students spoke eloquently about the importance of the Magna Carta and the impact it has had on their personal civil liberties. Congratulations to Lowri Thomas of Yr 12 who won the heat and now gets to compete in the final at the Royal Holloway in London on March 14th next year. She will compete against other regional finalists from across the UK. Well done to all who took part!
