Lego for Lesotho

Posted on: Friday 16th January 2015
The Penarth and District Lesotho Trust, a local charity, is launching an initiative to make Lego available to children in Lesotho, Africa. Stanwell school has a long standing link to the Lesotho Trust and we would like to appeal to our pupils and parents to donate any Lego they can spare so that it can be sent to Africa.
Boxes for your donated Lego will be in the Key Stage 3 and 4 Year Tutors’ Offices. Please could all models be deconstructed so that the blocks are separate items. Duplo blocks are also accepted. No items requiring batteries are suitable.
The closing date for contributions will be the end of the Spring Term and the Lesotho Trust will keep us informed of the progress of the project.
