National School Categorisation System: Stanwell School
Posted on: Thursday 02nd February 2017
We are pleased to announce that Stanwell School has once again been ranked in the highest possible category and has been identified as A1, Green. Welsh Government defines a Green school as ‘a highly effective school which is well run, has strong leadership and is clear about its priorities for improvement. These schools have track record in raising standards that pupils achieve and have the capacity to support other schools to do better.’ As a school, we are particularly proud of the achievements of pupils and the outstanding examination results they have achieved reflect the commitment of our pupils and teachers and are testimony to the support of parents/carers and Governors.
Further information regarding Welsh Government’s system of categorising schools can be found at: gov.wales.
The breakdown of Stanwell’s performance data used by Welsh Government to rank the school can be found at: MyLocalSchool.wales.gov.uk.
Congratulations to everyone who continues to contribute to the success of the pupils and the School.
