Stanwell shortlisted for National ICT Awards

Stanwell School has been shortlisted for the BECTA ICT Excellence Awards 2010.

This award is given annually to schools which display excellence in utilising ICT resources in Learning and Teaching as well as in the day to day administration and running of the school.

We have previously achieved the BECTA ICT Mark, and were assessed as "..a school which embraces the very latest technology in ensuring that the learning process is fully supported with the most efficient practice". 

Leadership and Management have invested greatly in the acquisition of interactive whiteboards in all teaching classrooms around the school whilst the implementation of the cashless system for pupil dinner money has been a great success.
