Penarth Literature Festival
Posted on: Monday 17th June 2019
The 8th annual Penarth Literature Festival is taking place over the long weekend 20th – 23rd June, and on the Saturday we have two author events for children and families.
We would be extremely grateful if you would kindly communicate details to your pupils and their parents, by posting on your school website, sharing the links below via social media, and displaying the attached poster.
FOR AGES 2-6:
SATURDAY 22ND JUNE @ 10.30AM @ PENARTH LIBRARY, STANWELL ROAD, PENARTH
Local author Laura Baker presents our special festival story time followed by a craft activity at Penarth Library. Laura’s latest picture book, The Colour of Happy, is a beautiful exploration of feelings shown through colour as one little boy navigates a range of emotions – from happiness and excitement to hope and love, all on his way to present a gift to his mum. All children must be accompanied by an adult. £5 per child (adults go free).
