For Students
Students at Stanwell School have great opportunities to take part in many curriculum related activities and also many extra curricular activitites. Students get involved in many clubs and activities which play an important role in modelling well-rounded young adults of the future.
A wealth of sports, musical performances, drama workshops, clubs and societies take place within the school day, at lunchtimes and after school not to mention the many trips and expeditions that are so popular with pupils and staff alike.
We consider the extra-curricular programme to be fundamental both to the curriculum and the character of Stanwell School.
Through the School Council pupils have the opportunity to contribute to some of the decisions made regarding their welfare in the school. The opportunity to represent the views of their peers direct to the Senior Management and other members of staff and the subsequent feed back to their year groups and forms is a valuable exercise in itself. It also gives the students a much better understanding of the decision-making process in an organisation that depends so much on the goodwill of all the pupils, the teaching staff and the support staff.
Get involved and get the most of your time in Stanwell School.
