Visit to Cardiff Bay
Posted on: Thursday 02nd July 2015
On the 23rd June, Year 10 pupils visited Cardiff Bay. The aim was to develop their fieldwork skills and collect data for their fieldwork enquiry as part of the GCSE course. The pupils visited four different locations; Mermaid Quay, Clarence Embankment, Mount Stuart Square and West Close to investigate the impacts regeneration has had on the area. Pupils carried out bi-polar and land-use surveys, photograph analysis and very politely asked questionnaires to local people and tourists. The pupils appreciated the different geographies at each location and showed excellent geographical skills in their data collection.
