World War I exhibition: A Nation Remembers
Posted on: Friday 25th October 2013
A vast number of pupils from Key Stages 3 and 4 kindly produced pieces of work to contribute to a recent exhibition which was displayed during Open Day. It has been organised for this academic year as July 2014 marks 100 years since the beginning of the Great War and the initiative is designed to keep the idea of remembrance fresh in the minds of pupils. The excellent pieces of work were formulated through a cross-curricular initiative involving the History, Art and Pastoral departments. The contributions are currently on display in certain areas around the school including the sixth form area, sixth form cafe and the Art and History departments. Once again, thanks to the hundreds of pupils who directed so much effort into this exhibition.
