The LitterLess Project

Posted on: Tuesday 27th January 2015

On Monday 26th January 2015, five members of the Eco Stanwell committee attended a Keep Wales Tidy initiative called “The LitterLess Project” at Llanishen High School. In total, fifteen secondary schools from South Wales attended with the aim of developing a more litter and waste free community. Pupils were asked to identify a litter or waste issue in each school or local community and after much discussion an action plan was developed. The project is to be funded by Wrigleys who are donating funds for each school to solve their litter or waste issue. The Eco Stanwell members have come away with some great ideas on how to tackle a litter prone area in Penarth town and further details are to follow!
