Year 13 students laid wreaths from Stanwell staff and pupils at the memorial in Alexandra Park this morning for Remembrance Sunday. Our head pupils Alex Iredale and Emily Richards laid the wreaths, while Megan Webber and Conor Sullivan also placed pebbles painted with poppies by our pupils. It was a poignant moment as the names of so many of the Stanwell pupils who fought and died in both world wars are on the memorial. An excerpt from The Fallen was read.
