Subject Options

Key Stage 5 (Years 12 & 13) school curriculum consists of:

  • A broad range of courses leading to external qualifications
  • Students follow the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification (WBQ careers and the world of work & PSE
  • GCSE re-sit classes are available in Mathematics and English Language

  • The courses best suited to a student are decided after careful consultation with both students and parents following an analysis of GCSE examination results

For entry into Sixth Form, students must achieve a minimum of five Level 2 passes, although many subjects require at least B Grade at GCSE level.
