Stanwell Careers Fair – Thursday 6th October 2022 3.30pm – 5.30pm 

On Thursday 6th October in collaboration with Careers Wales the school will be hosting a careers fair on apprenticeships and careers in Public Services, Financial Services, Hospitality and Sport.  A number of local and national employers will be supporting the event including:- 

South Wales Police, South Wales Fire & Rescue, RAF, Vale of Glamorgan Council, HMRC, Deloittes, Welsh Audit Office, Cardiff City Foundation, St David’s Hotel, Bar 44, University of South Wales, Cardiff Met, Dow Chemicals Ltd and the Welsh Rugby Union.

Pupils will be attending during the school day, however, parents/carers will have the opportunity to attend in the evening between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet employers and obtain career opportunities for your child in these sectors. In addition there will be separate talks by each career sector.

We are planning to hold further themed careers fairs in the future on NHS & STEM careers, pupils in Year 11 -13 will also have an opportunity to visit external career fairs later in the school year.
