Class Charts Information for Parents (January 2023)

Blog Header Image
9th Jan 2023

Dear Parents/Carers,

At the beginning of this academic year, the school invested in 'CLASS CHARTS' which is a system that staff, pupils and parents/carers will use to support communication. From January 2023 Class charts will be the only way that any whole school correspondence will be sent to parents/carers. If you haven’t downloaded the App and turned on the notifications please do so. If you require your individual Class Charts code to login please email the school at school@stanwell.org to request it.

We are pleased to further extend our use of class charts with the introduction of notifications of detentions. If your child is issued with a detention you will receive an email via the Class Charts system. A brief reason for the detention will be given along with the date, time, duration and teacher who issued the detention.

Moving forward this academic year the school will be introducing Stanwell’s core values which will underpin the whole school rewards system and feature on Class Charts. This is currently being reviewed with all stakeholders and we look forward to communicating this to you at a later date. In the meantime the school will continue with the normal way of working to issue rewards (such as postcards) and sanctions.

May we also remind you that you should be able to see your child’s timetable and attendance for the academic year on Class Charts, as well as being able to report your child absent from school using the App.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support in using Class Charts and we are excited to develop it further as a communication tool to help both parents and pupils engage & celebrate achievement. If you need any support or have any questions or queries, please contact the school.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs S Brewer
