Thank you to Richard Cox from Ategi for talking to the pupils about his work, and explaining how important a multi-disciplinary approach is when working in Health and Social Care. Certainly something that they need to know for their qualification. pic.twitter.com/8Nj8GKub9j— Geraldine Doyle (CW) () February 25, 2026

17th Aug 2023

A Level results day at Stanwell was a time for celebration of the outstanding results achieved by Year 12 and Year 13. Students, their families and school staff are incredibly proud of their grades which represent the talent, hard work and dedication shown throughout their chosen courses.

With 57% of all entries achieving A* and A grades and 95% A*- C, there certainly was a great deal to celebrate this year! As well as the success of the cohort there were also very many superb individual results with Anna Miles, Rohan Rayani, Bhargav Shivakumar, Robyn Walters and Emilie John all achieving 5 A* grades. There were also 58 students who achieved all A* and A grades.

Mrs Rhian Lewis, Head of Year 13 said, “we are delighted and proud of all our students and they really deserve all the praise and appreciation today! They have been a wonderful year group and we wish them the very best for the next chapter of their lives in university or employment.”

Mr Owen Flatley, Head of Sixth form, who attended the results day along with many other staff members to congratulate the students said, “results day is always such a rewarding experience as students see the value of all the hours of perseverance and application, setting them up with excellent habits for their futures. I’d like to say to them all - well done on behalf of all your teachers, we are super proud of you!”
