Y8 pupils were inspired by the very entertaining David Binns from the tech company, Sanako, about how vital foreign languages are for their futures. Some excellent questions asked. Merci, Danke, Diolch! pic.twitter.com/wZ2HMKO89O— Stanwell MFL () February 3, 2026

Please find attached parental leaflets from Welsh Government. They are written for parents and carers and provide information on how to talk to children about peer on peer online sexual harassment and bullying. In conjunction with this, all pupils will be completing some work during their pastoral session on peer on peer sexual harassment and bullying.

This is a very important, but often difficult topic. Please encourage all children to report anything that makes them feel uncomfortable, concerned or unhappy. There are many ways in which this can be done; directly to the Year Tutors in school or via email, the Worry button under the wellbeing section of the school website or via phone.
