Day 1✅ After a long day of travelling we arrived to lilleshall in great spirits after having a tour of the facilities. Before we went onto play in a small physical encounter against losing out to Presentation, Athenry of Ireland. We look forward to the final two matches👏🏻🔶🔷— Sep 14, 2026
There will be a Freshers’ Fayre open to Y7 and Y12 Pupils on Thursday 17th September, 3-4pm in the new sports hall. This is a great opportunity for pupils to get involved with Stanwell’s learner voice groups and to see what extra curricular groups are on offer.— Stanwell_School () Sep 14, 2026

Year 8 Cyber Security Day

Blog Header Image
8th Nov 2022

Thank you so much to all the employers and Careers Wales who helped make our Year 8 Cyber Security Day on Thursday 27th October a great success.

Students were able to learn all about possible cyber security careers, not just in programming!

Within the workshops run by Cyber Wales, Awen Collective, LexisNexis, Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales, Tarian ROCU and NDEC students looked at the effects hackers might have on industry, ethical hacking using SQL commands, simple steps in making yourself more resilient against a cyber-attacks, cyphers to decode cryptic messages using CyberChef software and an escape room activity where students worked within a team to crack the codes and problems required to clear a police investigators name!

Diolch yn fawr to everyone who made this day a great success.
