There will be a Freshers’ Fayre open to Y7 and Y12 Pupils on Thursday 17th September, 3-4pm in the new sports hall. This is a great opportunity for pupils to get involved with Stanwell’s learner voice groups and to see what extra curricular groups are on offer.— Stanwell_School () Sep 14, 2026

Dsc 7891Dsc 7913GCSE certificate presentation Friday 9th December 2022

Students from last year's Year 11 were presented with their GCSE certificates. It was a pleasure for the current Year 12 pupils to be joined by pupils who left Stanwell to start work, apprenticeships or alternative courses.

Mr Flatley (KS5 leader) presented the ceremony and awarded the students with their certificates with the support of Mrs McGowan and Mr Griffiths (Year tutors for Yr12) and Mrs Brewer (Senior Assistant Headteacher)

Mr Flatley spoke to the year group about how proud we were of each and every one of them as they had had to work through a pandemic. They showed great determination and hard work for the certificates they received.

He explained that we would always be interested in their progress and that they were always welcome back to speak to younger students to inspire them. He stated how important it was to keep the certificates safe as many employers ask for verification of GCSE grades in the future.

We wish them all a bright future.
