Fundraising for RNLI

On Friday 25th October just before half term some of our Charity Committee sixth formers visited the RNLI to hand over a cheque. The money raised (just over £500) was from the Charity Committee’s hard earned efforts undertaking a staff car wash earlier on in the term. This money, along with the money Stanwell’s Charity Committee donated to the RNLI last year (just over £1500) will be able to kit out a full lifeboat crew with all the equipment they need including GPS navigation system, dry suits, boots and helmets. We are so pleased to be supporting our local RNLI in their fundraising efforts for their 200 year anniversary.
