A & AS Level Results Day 2026

A and AS Level Results Day 2026 was an enjoyable day of celebration at Stanwell School following another highly successful school year. Students were keen to see the end product of their work and application over many years and their teachers were delighted with the grades achieved.

With 37% of all entries achieving A* and A grades and 84% A-C, there certainly was a great deal to celebrate this year! As well as the success of the cohort there were also very many superb individual results with 29 pupils achieving 4 x A*-A grades.

Mrs Stephanie McGowan, Head of Year 13, expressed her pride in what the students have achieved both academically and personally during their time at Stanwell: "as a year group they have been such a credit to the school and their families and we have had so many highlights with today being another one. Our students have shown dedication and drive and the excellent results awarded today are a reflection of that". 

Mr Owen Flatley, Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form, said: "it has been wonderful to see another year of superb results for our Year 12 and 13 students and to be present to celebrate their achievements. On behalf of all their teachers I wish Year 13 every success in the next stage of their life in higher education or apprenticeships or in the world of work. We are confident that they have all the necessary skills to take on new challenges and thrive".
