GCSE Results Day 2026

There was joy and celebration at Stanwell School for GCSE results day with both Year 11 and Year 10 students achieving outstanding grades. Miss Katie Brooks, Head of Year 11 said, "it has been a focused and fulfilling year for our Year 11 students who have excelled and we are so proud of all they have achieved. These results are well-deserved and it is fantastic to share this happy occasion with the pupils and their families".

This sentiment was echoed by Mr Rhys MacPherson, Assistant Headteacher and Head of Key Stage 4 who said, "as expected, this has been another highly successful year for Stanwell and these results are the end product of a great deal of sustained hard work and application from the students and staff working together with the support of the parents/carers and families. The vast majority of our students have opted to remain with us for Sixth Form so enjoy the celebrations and we look forward to seeing them in September for the next chapter of their education". 

Over 40% of students achieved 5A* - A grades with nearly a quarter achieving 10A*-A grades. 87% achieved good passes (C or above) in English with nearly 50% of all students achieving an A* or A in Mathematics.
